Shonda and Gary Alleman
Shonda and Gary came to faith in Christ in 2000 and were baptized later that same year at Odenton Church of God. Drawn by the Holy Spirit and a deep desire to grow in their faith, they soon became actively involved in church life and ministry.
Shonda felt a calling to serve children’s ministry when her daughter Gloria was three years old. She stepped in to help teach the preschool class, and Gary soon joined her. Together they faithfully served as a team for eight years, teaching young children and helping with Vacation Bible School. Their heart has always been to plant seeds of faith in the next generation.
Shonda has a deep passion for children and enjoys spending time with their three grandchildren. In her free time, she loves growing flowers, reading, walking her dog Sunday, and spending time with family.
Gary has been a licensed general contractor in Maryland since 2007. He enjoys building and creating, often helping with church projects and props. With a love for the outdoors and a true “green thumb,” Gary is a jack-of-all-trades and a skilled carpenter. Most importantly, he loves the Lord and is grateful for his relationship with Christ.
Together, Shonda and Gary are grateful for the opportunity to serve God and invest in the lives of children and families at C3.
